Reloading any of these pistols is a complicated act that requires time, attention, and a stable surface. Pretty much once you've shot the whole load, you're left with a handy club. The guns are prone to blow pieces of a percussion cap into the mechanism between the frame and cylinder, jamming the gun. After about thirty shots, gunpowder residue begins to create further problems with accuracy and reliability.
