Rare smooth straight six-shot barrel group with no flutes or ribs. Caliber is .28. Barrel group is 3" long and is brownish gray in color with some very light roughness present. The left side of the hammer is stamped "PATENTED 1849." Top of the hammer is stamped "W.W. MARSTON." and the right side is stamped "NEW YORK." Overall coloration is brownish gray. Two piece plain bag shaped walnut grips.

Darling Brass Pepperbox. Overall length is 8 ½". The four-shot barrel group is 3 ½" long and is constructed of brass. The barrels are octagonal and joined together and are approximately .30 caliber. One piece walnut grip. The left side of the frame is stamped "IEH." A nipple shield is in place which completely encloses the nipple area except for the top but swivels loosely. Barrel group must be rotated manually.

.31 caliber with 3 1/4" five-shot ribbed barrel group. Barrel ribs are marked with "Robbins and Lawrence" along with the address and "LEONARD'S PATENT 1849." Gun coloration is dull gray overall with considerable wear to the engraving on the breech and the frame. Two piece walnut grips.
